Welcome to the Global Game Jam 2024 at the Harz University of Applied Sciences, hosted by the degree programmes 'Media Informatics (B.Sc.)' and 'Media and Game Design (M.A.)'.

Our jam site is located in Building 9 ("Papierfabrik") on the Campus of the Harz University of Applied Sciences in Wernigerode.

We provide some Computers with Unity, Unreal, Adobe Suite, Maya, WLAN, we got Printers, Wacom Tablets etc. However, external participants (who are not students or employees of the University), should preferably bring their own computers.

We provide a quiet room for sleeping and resting as well as the possibility to use shower rooms.

Please know where your towel is, bring your own sleeping bags, mats, toothbrush and survival kits.
Don't forget to rest, move and sleep once in a while!

There is a Kebab & Pizza place nearby, a supermarket & bakery in 10 min. walking distance as well as coffee & vending machines in the University buildings.

A link to our Discord server will be announced to all jammers before the start of the event.

Kick-off will be Friday, Jan. 26th 2024, 16:30 o'clock.
