Heya Jammers, only a few days to go until the Kelowna Global Game Jam starts!
I've got a bunch of important info to share with you prior to the event:

    • Calling all Okanagan game makers for this year's GlobalGameJam event!

Game makers of all kind are welcome to join us in-person on January 26 for presentations from industry speakers before we reveal this year's GGJ theme. Both Video Game- and Board Game jammers of all skill levels are welcome! (All platforms too: PC, VR, TTRPG, console, etc) It's an amazing opportunity to meet likeminded individuals and future friends to work on projects together! After mingling and building a team with strangers or friends, you can work on your game in-house for the full duration of the event from 8am - midnight each day. Amazing food is available in walking distance. Make sure to bring your own devices and tools to participate! We've got plenty of power outlets and WiFi ready for you.
For the conclusion of the event, we will bring everyone together to present their finished games.

This event is free to attend but spots are limited, so make sure to register to this jam site! Must be age 18+
Note: You don't need to attend in-person for the entirety of the event and are free to work from home. However, please show up for the theme-reveal at the beginning and the conclusion at the end.
