Windsor Hackforge GGJ 2024

Windsor Hackforge is located in the Old Windsor Star/Palace Theatre building. We are accessible from the street by going up the outside stairs. Our entrance is located directly to the left of the main doors for the University of Windsor. To access the elevator, please call 519-819-2345 upon arrival.

We have wifi and seating for up to 15 people, and will also be hosting our jam virtually. All of our in-person events will also be streaming live on our Discord server, so anyone unable to make it in person can participate virtually. The Discord text chat will also be running all week for participants to communicate with each other and mentors.

Our event schedule is as follows:
Jam Kickoff (Keynote Presentation, account setup, etc): Monday, January 22nd, 8 - 10pm (VIRTUAL ONLY)
Jam Site Open (work collaboratively, get assistance, socialize, etc): Tuesday, January 23rd, 4 - 8pm
Jam Site Open (work collaboratively, get assistance, socialize, etc): Wednesday, January 24th, 4 - 8pm
Jam Site Open (work collaboratively, get assistance, socialize, etc): Thursday, January 25th, 4 - 8pm
Jam Closing (complete, submit, and present games): Sunday, January 28th, 12 - 7pm

Please bring any materials and equipment you need to create your game with you. This could be crafting supplies (if creating a board game), or computer equipment. We have power bars and extension cords available.

Parking Downtown is free at meters after 6pm. There are also paid lots and garages in within a few blocks of Hackforge. Downtown also offers many options for food, including pizza, burgers, Indian, and Ethiopian.

Please note that everyone attending events at Hackforge is subject to our Code of Conduct (https://www.hackf.org/code-of-conduct/). Anyone in violation may be asked to leave the premises.
