    • Jam Site Description:
      Join the award winning game development team at WU for the most experienced Global Game Jam site in Wales. Our Jam is supported by a team of experienced developers from both academia and the games industry. We will be hosting a live feed, Q&A and a interviewing development teams throughout the event. GGJNext is for creators under 16 years old. We will be running a GGJ24 (over the age of 18) event during the same week.

      Opening Ceremony: Creative Industries Building, Room CIB111.

      Saturday, 27th January 2024

      10.00am – 10.30am: Registration Completion & Initial Group Chat
      10.30am – 11.00am: Official GGJN Introduction & Welcome
      11.00am – 13.00pm: Game Jamming

      13.00pm – 14.00pm: Lunch

      14.00pm – 16.00pm: Game Jamming

      16.00pm – 16:30: Submission + Close

      Games Talent Wales

      Games Talent Wales is a grassroots talent development program for the games developers, focused on university alumni and final year students. Annually, the programme supports up to 16 indie games companies from across Wales to support and grow the game industry. Participating companies receive business support, grant funding, incubation space, and mentoring from top Welsh game studios as well as individual industry mentors. Games Talent Wales is backed by the UK Games Funds Tranzfuser and funded by the Welsh Government.
