Pulse College Game Jam 2024

Welcome Jammers!! We at Pulse College are open to anyone and everyone taking part in Global Game Jam on Friday 26th of January 2024 at 6pm. Both students and non students are welcome. You can take part online or in Pulse College's Halston Street Campus.

Jammers are welcome in the college from 6pm to mix, mingle and get to know each other. Beware, the door into the campus is a large black door! Ring the doorbell and we can let you in! At 7pm we will watch the Global Game Jam video and learn what the theme for this year's jam is. Shortly afterwards, we will have drinks and pizza. Whilst eating pizza and chatting we can then arrange people into teams. You are more than welcome to set up teams yourselves however if there are people who haven't found a team, we can add them into groups that need their skillset.

Ideally, we would really like for teams to work on their projects in the college all through the weekend rather than have entire teams working in isolation at home. The goal of the jam is to have fun and meet new people! We have systems in the college that Jammers can use however, feel free to bring in your own laptops if you wish.

The college will close at 10pm on Friday and Saturday. The campus opens at 10am on Saturday and Sunday. The Jam will finish at 6pm on Sunday 28th of January. I would strongly recommend uploading your project at 5pm at the latest to make sure you get your project in on time.

Food and drink such as biscuits, sandwiches, tea and coffee will provided for the whole weekend and we may have some discounts in local eateries as well.
