24 hours until the MDS Global Game Jam!

Hey Jammers, the MDS GGJ is starting in just over 24 hours!

Some important information before the day. 

We have a discord, this is a great place to ask questions or find people to join a team.

Please arrive no earlier than 5pm. When you arrive head to level 4.
We'll be starting the intro and keynote at 5:30pm.

  • Media Design School has been hosting GGJ in Auckland for more than 10 years. Join us for the first jam on our new campus for the 2024 event!
    PCs / dual screens are provided. Plenty of further space for laptops and board games!

    We have a Discord server for the game jam.

    Jamsite schedule (this is a rough schedule and exact times might change closer to the date):
    FRIDAY – 26th January 2024
    17:00: Event start and registration opens
    17:30: Introduction / Housekeeping
    18:00: Keynote / Theme reveal
    18:30: Team forming / Ideation
    19:30: Idea sharing / Recruiting team members

    SATURDAY - 27th January 2024

    12:00: Deadline for team subscriptions
    ...

    SUNDAY - 28th January 2024
    15:00: Uploading the games commences
    17:00: Deadline for submission of the games
    17:15: Presentations, wrap-up and celebrations

    Then down to the pub for food and drinks
