Uploading your game

Submitted by AdamClayden93 on

Yo, champs in the making!

As you're coming to the end of your final crunch session, please make sure:

  1. You have a game area. Assign a team lead to log into the website, go to our jam site area, click "Create Game" then add in all the details. You can add just the required stuff for now until you're ready to upload files. Make sure you add your team members too.
  2. Review the upload instructions: https://globalgamejam.org/upload-your-game (the full PDF link is on that page). Please make sure you have two uploads: your source and your executable. Your source doesn't need to be your entire game project. Just your code and assets (5GB upload limit). Please ensure that you upload your own original work in the source folder as anything you upload goes under the Creative Commons (CC) license. You own the IP of everything you upload. If you have assets made externally that isn't original, then don't upload these (your build is fine, just not in your source).
  3. Remember from 4-5pm we'll be playtesting in the lab, so build a playable version of your game and set it up for folks to play.
  4. You are REQUIRED to upload anything you have made, even if you don't finish your game. Just put up what you have.
  5. Good luck! You can do this!
