Joseph Jay Vales

Hello, my name is Jay and I'm excited to be here. I've worked in and out of the video and board game industries since 2003. I've had the honor and privilege of working on many games, including World of Warcraft (vanilla), Grand Theft Auto 4, Grand Theft Auto 4: The Lost and Damned, and Smackdown vs. RAW 2010 among others in roles from Quality Assurance to 3D Animator. I've also worked at Victory Point Games where I also designed and released a card game: Conquest at Kismet, which received 2 Silver Seals of Approval from The Dice Tower and ranked top 10 at Board Game Geek Convention 2015. I received my Bachelors of Game Art and Design from the Art Institute of California - Orange County in 2007 and I received my Masters in Communications and Media Tech from Academy of Art in 2018. I've been teaching college level animation, design, and game theory since 2010. Currently I'm a professor of game design currently employed with Collin College.

In my free time, I love to shoot my bows and I also host karaoke on the side :)
