Do you want to start a new year by making a game in 48 hours? Do you want to learn 3D modelling, programming, drawing or making music? Are you open to making something amazing your friends or complete strangers on the internet?
THEN Slovenia Global Game jam is the right event for you!
What is all the hype about you ask? Glad you asked!
From 27.1. to 31.1. we will host ONLINE Global Game Jam for everyone in Slovenia (and also abroad if somebody wants to join) and prior to that, we will have a week full of workshops on topics ranging from 3D/2D Art, Programming, Sound, Game Design etc.
All of the activities will be hosted on Slovenia Games Discord Server (https://discord.gg/s2rs845vDe), that includes brainstorming, team forming, chatting, developing and showcasing finished products (more info about all activities will follow).
The theme of the game jam will be revealed on 27.1. for the whole world.
This is event is organized in collaboration with festival Kiblix (https://2020.kiblix.org/), Slovenia Games Association, Kibla2Lab with platform RUK

Q: What is Global Game Jam?
A: Global Game Jam is one of the world's largest and longest-running Game Jam events where creators are challenged to make a game in a single weekend.
Q: Can anyone participate?
A: YES!!! The event is free and open to the public. People with all kinds of backgrounds can participate.
Q: What do I need?
A: You need to bring 3 things:
1. A lot of energy, good spirit and great ideas :D
2. Your computer with all your favourite tools installed, updated, and ready to go.
Some tools for artists: Photoshop, Gimp, Mari, Substance, Blender, Maya, 3ds Max etc.
Some tools for programmers: Unity, Unreal, GameMaker, Godot, Visual Studio, Sublime, VS Code (basically your favourite editor) and some Git client like Source tree.
3. Sleep, Sleep, SLEEP!!! and also drink water (or tea or coffee)
