My name is Stuart and I'm 29 years old, I am a Masters student and part-time lecturer at university studying a, MA in Events management (Esports) and have graduated in BEng HONS COMPUTER GAMES DESIGN. I ran the last Global Games Jam so already have experience in hosting one and it was hugely successful. I have been in management and team management for other 7 years and have always been an avid gamer. I have also been a lifeguard and swim coach, so I really enjoy working under pressure, solving problems and meeting new people. I wish to enter the games industry once I have finished my course and pursue a career in project management and become a producer. I have skills in 3D animation, 3D art and did my final year project (FYP) in narrative writing. I am involved in the new Esports Degree and will be submitting an; MA Negotiated Projected in Events management in Esports dissertation. Games Jam is a proud tradition at Staffordshire University and It would be my pleasure to continue it. I have competed in two other Games Jams to date and I wish for everyone new and old to experience, the enjoyment; I always have.
