What is this I asked, as I played Pokemon on my friend's gamboy. I had no idea what I was doing as it was my first time playing pokemon and overall my first time playing with a gameboy. At first I was completely lost at how to even manipulate the game console but as I got into the game, I began to fall in love with it. That's actually what got me wanting and then getting my first gameboy, which then turned into a ds, then a dsi, then the wii. I've been playing with nintendo for years, which ultimately got me to wonder, how are games even made. I soon learned that games are basically brought to life with programming. At first I wasn't too sure what that meant, but I really learned the magic of programming when I got accepted into a coding program in high school. I learned what coding was and how it's applied in almost everything we use and know of. That program inspired me to enter the tech field and apply my programming skills in making video games. I'm currently a sophmore in college majoring in computer science. Being apart of this event would be a wonderful opportunity, where I can get to interact with other people around my age and learn more onto how a video game is overall put together.
