Full name:
Daniel Prihodko
About:
Initially a gamer, I started modding when I was 15, it began with Warcraft3's editor. Then I moved on to working with Source's Hammer editor. In both I was doing the terrain editing. In school I started learning programming, and really liked that every process could be split in a set of simple tasks. At the same time, Starcraft2 came out, and after working on a project as a terrain artist, I decided to try myself as a trigger editor. I had little problem creating different systems. That is when I discovered that I actually liked programming. Later on I self teaching C#, while studying in programming school. After I finished learning C#, I moved on to creating a game in XNA framework. It reached the state of playable prototype, and I left it in that state. Later on I was invited to work in a company, oriented on iOS development. I've worked there for a year, having to learn Obj-C from the start, was involved in multiple projects, one of them was entirely created by me. After that, my old teammate from Starcraft2 editing days invited my in to a games developer group, which I am a part of for approximately half a year as a main programmer. We're using Unity and C#.
Like logic, maths, algorithms, games and stories they tell. Like games such as Mass Effect series, anything Blizzard created (Diablo 3 quickly became boring, though), multiple other strategies, some indies, and a couple great old games, such as Freelancer. Adore games like Bioshock, Fallout, The Elder Scrolls.
