We are happy to announce that Global Game Jam 2022 Jammer Registration is now open!
To accommodate those in our community who celebrate the Lunar New Year holiday, the jam window is being extended from 20 January to 30 January 2022.
GGJ 2022 will be a hybrid* event that allows both live and virtual sites. Anyone can participate, as long as they are over the age of majority in the country hosting the jam (in most places this is 18, but check with your local site if you are not sure). Underage jammers can also participate if they are accompanied by a legal guardian.

Remember that you don’t have to be experienced to join the GGJ. Designers, developers, artists, musicians, knitters, gardeners, bakers, architects, everyone and anyone is welcome to try their hand at making a game during the GGJ. In addition to enhancing your skill set, you can learn many new (and unexpected) skills - and support your team by contributing ideas, playtesting, and giving moral support. You could even work on a non-digital game, so then there's no need for code!
