We are busy making preparations for Global Game Jam® 2018, which is happening on 26-28 January.
Last year we welcomed over 36,000 jammers in 700 sites across 95 countries, and we created over 7,000 games!
We are so proud to still be the biggest and most diverse gathering of game creators in the world, and we welcome you to become part of the GGJ family for 2018 to help us grow bigger, better and stronger. As this is our 10th year jamming, we are aiming for 100 countries this year - so we would love your help to reach out and make that happen!
If you want to run a site for 2018, you can register your site here. One of our volunteer Regional Organizers will be in touch to check you are all set up for success and help you with any issues or questions you may have. Please be patient with them, they are all volunteers and sometimes have a lot of sites to get through.
If you’re new to organising a GGJ site, don’t be scared - you’ll have plenty of support from the GGJ community and we’re here to help make your jam great! Have a look through our FAQ for some idea of what to expect. You can always email questions to our help team, or talk to the community on Twitter @globalgamejam, just be sure to remember #GGJ18 hashtag.
Once your site is approved you'll be added to the most amazing Slack community where the whole world prepares for a weekend of creativity and collaboration like nothing else on the planet.
