    • The in-person portion of Philly's GGJ will take place at Indy Hall (https://indyhall.org/) for the duration of the in-person game jam this weekend! Indy Hall is located at 709 N 2nd St. Arrive Friday at 6:30pm and be out Sunday at 3pm, this is a hard out!

      Most important notes:

      - There's a 3pm hard stop Sunday, please be out by then! Kickoff’s Friday at 7pm. Submission for the GGJ is due Sunday at 5pm.
      - We’ll have a sign-in sheet at the door for those signed up for the GGJ. Please sign-up here if you intend to participate. Remote jammers who started Monday are welcome to stop by and jam at Indy Hall, sign up even if you are visiting.
      - You’ll be given a door code that gets you in and out of Indy Hall from 8am-8pm, but you’ll need to contact someone inside to get in after hours. Please message Zach (@salt411 on Discord) to be let in after 8. But please do not arrive between midnight and 8am if you don’t have to.

      Agenda

      - We’ll have a kickoff where we reveal the theme at 7pm. Then we’ll tour the space and learn all about where we can and can’t be. We are sharing a work space with some very cool people, please be respectful of their space that they’ve opened to us.
      - Next, some introductions and a brainstorming session to get great ideas on the board. Teams will be formed, if you are already on a team and are ready to start we ask that you see if there are any other jammers that might fill a role with your group before you get started.
      - JAM
      - We have to be out of the space by Sunday at 3pm, sorry, but continue jamming at home you desire. And be sure to submit your game by 5pm!

      Other notes and logistics:

      - BYO food and drinks! We won’t have any available at Indy Hall, though we'll supply a couple cases of water bottles (stay hydrated, folks). We’ll have a couple coolers to keep food/drinks cold, but don’t count on a ton of cold space. Still definitely bring sustenance.
      - WE WILL NOT PROVIDE ANY TECH. Don’t forget your computer, your headphones, and your sense of adventure. Other sensible gear: a book, a notebook, a pen, a reusable cup, a phone charger.
      - We’ll have bathrooms, but not showers.

Looking forward to jamming with everyone this weekend! Hit up @salt411 with questions on the PGM Discord: https://discord.gg/Fk2JV6X23z

The online portion of the Game Jam will take place in the Philly Game Mechanics Discord at 7pm on Monday, January 22nd. All are welcome! We're starting kickoff on the 22nd to give teams the flexibility to work during hours that fit their schedules. The spirit of GGJ is a 48-hour jam, so while a full week allows for a slower pace, teams should still plan to put in no more than 48 hours. The kick-off video will be streamed through our Discord here: https://discord.gg/Fk2JV6X23z
