    • We’re very excited to be taking part in the Global Game Jam 2024! This is open to any learner on a level 2 or 3 Games Design Programme and is a great opportunity to push your skills. You can choose to participate solo or in a small group. If you want to work as a team, try to find complimentary specialisms for the best results.

      Timings

Your actual start and end times will vary depending on your timetable, but you can see below for a guide:

Monday – The GGJ is revealed! You’ll start with brainstorming and idea development.

Wednesday – You’ll need to have a playable prototype ready and a page ready on the GGJ website.

      Friday – Final uploads from 3pm – 4pm.

We are operating as a hybrid site; this means that you may continue to work on your game outside of sessions. You will be able to book space in the library, there will also be some support available on teams. Remember that all you lesson resources are still available on your course website.

Have fun and I’m looking forward to playing your games!
