▶️ COVID-19 policy

For the safety of our community, please review the following COVID-19 policy for this year's in-person location:

  • You must be fully vaccinated and boosted.
  • You must have a negative COVID-19 test result, taken on Friday, Feb 3rd. You will be asked to show a photo of the test when you arrive, so remember to take a picture!
  • If you are feeling sick at any time during the weekend, you must go home immediately.
  • Because of the testing requirement, masks are not required, but if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, please feel free to. Additional masks are available on-site.

There are no exceptions to this policy. If you are unable to provide a photo of a negative test, or you forget to take a test (it happens), there is a pharmacy right next door to Noble Robot where you can quickly obtain a home test.

If you cannot comply with this policy for any reason, you are of course welcome to jam with us online via Discord.

If you have any questions about this policy, please contact Mark LaCroix, the in-person site organizer.

▶️ In-person jam site

Noble Robot is a co-working office for people working in games, software, and digital art, located in the St. Anthony Falls area of Minneapolis, just across the river from downtown.

It is an open plan space that can accomedate a maximum of 30 people: 22 in the main area, and 4 in each of two conference rooms.

There will be enough power strips for everyone, but you may wish to bring your own to be safe or if you have additional devices. There will be a few extra monitors as well as a large number of Xbox One and PS4 gamepads. See an organizer on-site to check out any Noble Robot equipment.

One of the conference rooms doubles as a podcast/recording studio, and can be used to record audio for your game. See an organizer to arrange use of the recording space and equipment.

This conference room also features a TV and wide-angle webcam connected to a USB hub for Discord/Zoom meetings. It's use will be prioratized for hybrid teams.

The building also has a small amount of common space that can be used temporarily, but there will be no dedicated space for sleeping/napping.

Noble Robot will remain open until 3am on Friday and Saturday, and open again at 9am on Saturday and Sunday.

▶️ Online jam site

For our online site this year we're again partnering with Amber Waves of Games to manage the Discord server for the jam. All jammers will use this server, whether online-only or in-person. The opening and closing presentations will be streamed into the server and to the IGDATC YouTube channel.
