Arrangements:
Every participant should arrange their own transport and transfers. Every participant should arrange their own food but the main idea behind the event is that all the jammers have fun and eat together, so we will make special communications regarding the food with the participants during the event. Make sure you let us know if you have any specific nutritional requirements.
Participation:
This event is meant to be hybrid in the sense that anyone could participate in-person as well as through the provided on-line communication channels.
Teams:
Teams are formed by personal choice of the participants. There are no limitations.
Format:
The game jammers have 48 hours to make their game
The jam starts on Day 0, when the participants are assigned to the actual teams. We have a networking, teambuilding and team forming event.
Day 1 (Friday, 3 February), 18:00 we kickoff with the GGJ Key-note and Theme. This is when the teams start working.
At 12:00 on Day 2 is the final deadline for game registration.
The deadline for game submissions is 13:00 on Day 3. The time frame between 13:00 and 18:00 on Day 4 is planned for networking and each participant will have the opportunity to play the other teams’ games.
Considering the location one should not rely too much on the internet availability.
Awards:
The focus of the jam will be on creativity, exploration and improvisation, as well as experimentation in a very friendly atmosphere. There will be no game awards or contest, only voting for the individual roles.
