This jam site is open to anyone who lives in East Central Indiana as well as all Ball State affiliates, including students, faculty, staff, and community partners. We are excited to host this Jam Site as a collaboration between the Ball State Department of Computer Science and the STEM Living-Learning Community within Housing and Residence Life.
Our jam will start at 5 PM on Friday, February 3, with an in-person kick-off event. Food will be provided for all in attendance, and during this event, the site organizer will go over the ground rules, including a discussion of the schedule, tools, and theme. After that, we will get into the jam with a little structure to help you form teams around common interests. We welcome all jammers for Video Game Design, Board Game Design, Narrative storytelling, and more.
We will wrap up the jam at 5 PM on Sunday, February 5, with an in-person celebration. Food will be provided and each team will have the opportunity to share their results and get feedback on their games.
Site Location: This jam site is located within the North Residence Hall which is located next to the traffic circle on North McKinley Ave. This is a different building than North Dining which is located nearby, please check out this map for the specific location (NR/E4 on Map).
Parking: Parking for this site is easily accessible to the public North of the building on the far side of the traffic circle. The Green Parking Lot C1 will be open for public parking after 5 PM on Friday, February 3, and for the duration of the jam.
