Welcome to GGJ Austin 2022! This jam is open to anyone and everyone who wants to jam with Austin, TX.

LOCATION:
[Updated] This jam site will be online-only. Unfortunately our physical location on UT campus is no longer available due to the University's "reduced density" policy in effect for the month of January.

While this is an event centered around Austin, Texas, it is not necessary for all jam team members to be located in Austin for this jam (if you have teammates in other cities/states/countries, that is fine!).
While the jam will take place virtually, there are coffee shops and outdoor seating around Austin and in the UT area should your team wish to meet in person (we will share a list of recommended locations during the kickoff).
EQUIPMENT:
We will not be able to provide computers or other equipment for jammers.
COMMUNICATION:
We will be making use of a Discord server for announcements and discussion throughout the jam. It is recommended that every jammer have access to the platform in order to raise their questions, find important info, or catch the latest announcements. Information on the Discord app can be found at www.discordapp.com. You can also find the app available for download on your phone's app store.
One installed, connect to https://discord.gg/GtBAbK3Gc6 in order to access the server and find the appropriate chat channels. Don't hesitate to reach out to a site organizer during the kickoff ceremony if you have trouble connecting to the group or are unfamilar with how Discord works.
TEAM FORMATION:
If you have a team already, great! Don't have a team yet? We will have a mixer on Discord at 7pm on January 28th. We will not put you on a team, but we will help you if you ask!
