Alter

ALTER is a 2.5D platformer and side-scroller adventure. There is an outer world, which is a hospitable and grounding place for the character to be, and an inner world contaminated by the character's loopy thoughts, fears and phobias. That deeper, twisted reality is ever-present in him, but is visible only when triggered. A trigger induces a shift from the outer world into the personal hell, just like day changes into night, balance into turmoil, and light into darkness. Just like us all, the character has a choice: to try and run from his thoughts and problems OR to run into them, embracing them. What choice will YOU make?

Technology Notes: 
The game “Alter” was developed using Unity engine version 2020.3.3.26 , scripting was done in Visual Studio that uses C# programming language. 3D modelling and animation was done in Blender version 2.93, whereas texturing work the artists did in Substance Painter software.
