Hey Everyone! Welcome back for another GGJWelly, 2021 edition!!
It's been quite an extrodinary year, and to reflect this, we're going to be having an extrodinary jam.
The primary difference is that all Global Game Jams around the world are going to be from the comfort of your very own home this year! Due to the pandemic, GGJ Head Quarders is requiring all GGJ sites to not have a physical gathering point for their jammers.
"But Navi!" I hear you say, "New Zealand is at level 1 and we are allowed to gather!"
While true, as this is a global event, we want to respect the situation happening at most other jam sites. I also don't want to jinx our fortunate potision of being in Level 1. Not having a physical site will leave us prepped if we do move into Level 2+.
We'll all keep in touch via our Discord channel (and can make good use of the LFG, Help! and Playtests channels). Having access to a mic may be really helpful for the jam this year (and no need for dongles!).
