As GGJ is online this year, we will be hosting our site on the MGI Discord where there will be a channel specifically for the jam.
Everyone is welcome to join, even if you are not in the Midlands / UK!
There are two steps to sign up:
Create a GGJ account and join our site
Join the MGI Discord (https://discord.gg/8HKrg5T)
The MGI Discord server is where we will be holding the event. Server and jam guidelines will be posted in the GGJ channel so be sure to read those before posting.
GGJ is an inclusive, non-competitive event and we expect all participants to abide by the GGJ Code of Conduct (https://globalgamejam.org/code-conduct) as well as all guidelines for our site. We’re here to have fun and celebrate making games, so make sure to treat others with respect and help us create an inclusive and welcoming place to jam!

6pm Jan 27 – Welcome and Keynote
7pm Jan 27 – Team Forming / Jam Start
Daily Throughout the Jam – Coffee Break / Community Chat Room
3pm Jan 31 – Begin Uploading Games to GGJ Site
5pm Jan 31 – Jam End & Team Presentations
Note:
You may participate as an individual or team, though we do encourage participants to get the most out of the jam by making friends and working with or alongside others. Pre-formed teams are allowed and at the start of the event there will also be a team-forming exercise and ‘looking for team’ channel for those seeking members.
