Gobbler's Knob

Gobbler’s Knob is a “Groundhog’s Day” inspired endless loop game where the protagonist, Phil the Groundhog, must successfully break out of the recurring cycle of an important day that he finds himself reliving. Phil is uncertain of why he is trapped within this specific day and must figure a way out through the conversations he has and the quests he undertakes. For this game jam we came up with the concept, art work and basic character movements using Aseprite and Godot, and mapped out a dialog system with different outcomes that will be added to the game later. The concept was worked on by a husband and wife team, and music for the game was generously contributed by another jammer.
