Forced to leave their home or lose their lives, a young girl and her mother find themselves stranded in the middle of a dangerous forest. Bruised, exhausted, and handicapped in their escape, the mother leaves to find help on her own, promising the girl she will return. As the days pass and it becomes clearer she won't come back, the girl makes the brave decision to set out alone. With the help of a skeleton spirit, she must navigate past monsters and through dangerous terrain in a quest to reunite with her mother. Echo is a 2D story-rich platformer RPG, with a linear progression and boss-fights at the end of every exploration stage. The player jumps with the spacebar, walks with the arrow keys, and 'echos' with 'E', allowing a brief extension of the player's limited vision.
