Abraham's Lantern

Version en español: Basándonos en la temática de este año que es "lost and found" (es decir, "Perdido y Encontrado"), quisimos basar nuestro juego en las tantas cosas que surgieron entre 2020 y 2021, desde estar confinados en nuestros hogares, hasta tener que esperar a ver que sucede con nuestros seres queridos al tener el virus. Realizamos un juego en donde pudiéramos demostrar cómo nos hemos perdido a nosotros durante la cuarentena. Nuestro juego cuenta una de las tantas historias que hay y tenemos, intentando que el jugador se identifique, viviendo algo como un sueño en donde la casa no le deja ir hasta que pueda encontrar lo perdido, internándose en las fases de duelo al haber perdido a alguien, peleando contra sus propios demonios hasta desenterrar el baúl que siempre escondemos al no saber como lidiar con lo que sentimos. Version in English: Based on the theme of this year that is "lost and found," we base our game on the many things that arose between 2020 and 2021. From being confined to having to wait to see what would happen with our family and friends if they got the virus, we wanted to make a game where we could show how we lost ourselves during this quarantine. Our game tells one of the many stories that could happen out there, trying to make the player identify himself by living something like a dream where the house does not let him go until he can find what he lost. Going through the stages of mourning after losing someone, and fighting against his own demons until unearthing the trunk that we always hide by not knowing how to deal with what we feel.
