Jam Site Description: 

Create a game in 48 hours at the UNLV International Gaming Institute!

Free pizza, drinks, and snacks will be provided! Prizes will be awarded to the community's favorite jam games!

All experience levels and disciplines are welcome. Mentors will be on-site to help every step of the way. Anyone can make a game! Whether you're a programmer, artist, musician, writer, marketer, researcher, playtester, or anything else, you can help make a game at the Global Game Jam!

Bring your own PC or work alongside a team. Some PCs are available for use on-site but supplies are limited. Board or card games are also encouraged!

Ample free parking is available directly outside the building, as well as the surrounding UNLV parking lots and the Cottage Grove parking garage.

11am: Unity UNLV Club Meeting

2pm: Global Game Jam Kickoff

3pm: Beginner Unity Tutorial

4pm: Beginner GameMaker Tutorial

5pm: Global Game Jam Start!

  • Theme Announced Internationally
  • 48 Hours to Jam Begins

5pm: Global Game Jam Halfway Mark

12pm: Time To Start Uploading Games!
