University of the Arts London (UAL) is hosting Global Game Jam for the first time in our London College of Communication (LCC) campus placed in the heart of London at Elephant & Castle.
The jam space is accessible from 9 am - 8 pm Friday and Saturday only. This event is not open to members of the public.
All jammers after registration have to email Thom "Fanotherpg" Kaczmarek at [email protected] prior to 30th of January when registration will close:
- from University email
- In title referring to GGJ event and your Course
- In the body providing your name, surname, student ID and registration GGJ nickname confirming participation
- The above details are a requirement for your Saturday attendance and Health and Safety reasons in case of any fire alarms and other incidents
- If you have any specific access requirements for an event or exhibition, please contact us by email ([email protected]) or phone (020 7514 8498) in advance of your visit so that we can make any necessary preparations or adjustments. Only Current UAL students/staff/alumni from any campus are allowed (University ID Card is required to enter the building) plus any invited industry guests. The site at this occasion cannot be open on Sunday.
Participants will have access to desks, WiFi and power; however please bring your own computer/laptop.
Friday:
- Arrive from 9 am
- Presentations from 4 pm
- Theme reveal at 5 pm
- Close at 8 pm
Saturday:
- Arrive from 9 am
- Create your game page and register it to the UAL/LCC #GGJ20LCC jam site before 3 pm, remember to attach all team members!
- From 6 pm onwards attendees will be able to present their projects.
- Upload the game including an executable and the source prior to 8 pm deadline (note: uploading source is a requirement of participation in GGJ and will be under the Creative Commons License for more details visit FAQ)
- Close at 8 pm
Sunday:
Unfortunately, the site cannot be open on this occasion - we finish early on Saturday evening.
