Sheffield Hallam University is hosting the Global Game Jam once again, with support from the National Videogame Museum. Develop your games in our high-spec gaming labs and have the chance to showcase them at the NVM once the jam has ended.
From the National Videogame Museum: The National Videogame Museum is excited to support the Global Game Jam at Sheffield Hallam University. We're even more excited to invite participants of GGJ2020 to showcase their work to our public audience afterwards.
Should participants be interested, they may have the opportunity to display playable versions of the game they have created on the museum galleries. Participants will also be offered complimentary entry to the museum to enjoy the galleries, as well as to be on hand to help the public play and enjoy their game.
The NVM is a family friendly centre, and requires any games on display to respect that. This means games should adhere to the advice for PEGI 12 or ESRB E10+ rating categories. The NVM reserves the right to refuse any content deemed unsuitable.
Please note that while we aim to have development PCs available for all participants, we can't guarantee access for attendees from outside the University. If you can bring a laptop to develop on, then please do.
