Bitforest is very excited to be hosting a site for Global Game Jam 2020 at the Eugene RAIN building! Meet new people, try new things, and feel the joy of contributing open source games with people all over the world.
Participants will receive a badge via badgr.io that links to their finished game project! Use these badges to boost your portfolio, show off, and have a handy record of your game jam projects.
This building is always locked, so entry is only possible by getting the attention of someone in the lobby or messaging an admin who is on-site through Discord, Slack, Facebook messenger, etc.
Parking is free downtown on the weekends in parking garages, and there are a couple on Charnelton, which only a block away.
Please bring your own hardware - computers, drawing tablets, MIDI keyboards, etc.
Please bring headphones if you plan to listen to music.
Please maintain personal hygiene, and avoid strongly-scented products for those with chemical sensitivities.
This site has WiFi access only. If you're bringing a desktop computer, you will need a WiFi dongle.
Since the site is secure, feel free to leave your equipment overnight but please arrange to sleep off-site.
