Super Smudge is a super smudgy and challenging multiplayer game. It consists of several mini games in which the player always has to "repair" an image. He can either take a photo himself or take predefined images. The core mechanic behind this game are image warp effects also known as "Liquify". Some mini game ideas would be: - Evilize: All players must liquify an image of someone and make him look really evil - Catify Dog: All players must liquify an image until a cat becoms a dog (can be also applied to other cases) - Girl2Pizza: All players must liquify an image until the girl became a pizza ... and many more. After each mini game all players give points to all final images except their own. The points will be saved for later. In the end, when all mini games were mastered, the player with the highest score wins. The game itself is planned to be played via smartphone with friends. But for the Global Game Jam 2020 we created a semi-digital prototype as a proof of concept and imagined a super trashy 90's television retro game show for the final presentation of our game.
