You take the role of a blacksmith. Adventurers come to your smithy shop to repair their broken gear, upgrade them, or vendor their loot and old gear. When an adventurer enters your shop, you have to use these parts (which often can be weird and comical) to modify their gear based on their stats, budget and destination, and then send them off to their adventures. Then you see briefly how they fare in the dungeon through the sound of their encounters (which is written in text bubbles) and then they come back to sell you their loot.
