Homesick

How To Play: - Click an option from the thought bubbles - Each represents what you or the character is preoccupied with --- The game was made to simulate, in part, what it's like to work far away from home and how there are two ways in which people react to that kind of separation. Try to experience all the endings.

Technology Notes:
The game uses Odin Serializer for the published builds and is removed from the source since it's a paid license. You can purchase it from the Unity Asset Store or simply change the serialization / deserialization to use something else, a couple of lines of code can switch the reading and writing of byte data to the default C# binary serializer. Not saving doesn't impact the experience in any significant way as well, since the game is so short, you can just start fresh everytime. Further the game uses an in house identity system that takes care of the serialization / deserialization on top of Odin, in case you are interested to rebuild that, we can provide a version that will work with the game and not compromise any other game internals. Just ask once. The Music is not part of the source as well and can be bought from the asset store or replaced with any music that you fancy.
