Fire Flight

Fire Flight is a brief memory of home, looking back through the lens of video games -- playing them then, and making them now, to honor and reflect back on those formative days. Fire Flight is a short platformer lovingly crafted after an old favorite NES game, and the vivid memory of both home and gaming happiness that came to mind when thinking of What Home Means to Me. Many thanks and much love to Capcom for the original model for our small game. This game was a background project by Stellar Door Studios (www.stellardoorstudios.com), during the free times between hosting and helping assist the teams that joined us for the Global Game Jam 2019, in Frederick, MD.

This directory contains a Unity project, which can be built by loading the entire Assets directory, enclosed here, in a Unity Editor.

This project was developed using Unity 2018.3.1f1.  This should be considered a minimum version, as 2018.3 contains features that are not supported by 2018.2 and previous versions.

All scripts, game assets, and materials are included here.  This was created entirely using Unity's own tools, and no additional tools (such as Asset Store or third party plugins, etc.) are needed to build and run this game.
