Doggo!

"Home is where you feel loved and cared for. Sometimes it can be another person." This is a survival platformer with puzzle elements and some mini games here and there. You play as an abandoned puppy in suburb environment and you need to find a new home because winter is coming soon. You can 'cute' bark at people, and if they are positive you will gain happiness, otherwise you lose it. This depicts our community and how can people influence you. Explore the small town to find food, avoid poisoned food, drink water etc. to survive the day. At night it's colder and you lose warmth faster, so you need to find shelter and you always find shelter with the homeless person. The game features handcrafted designs and animations created during the 2-day jam, with custom particle systems. You play with: Arrow keys or WASD to move Space to jump E to interact F to dismiss speech bubbles B to bark The game is developed in Unity using C#, Photoshop for the graphics, Animation tools from Unity (Preview tool, similar to Anima2D) for animations and Garage Band for sounds. Wacom Bamboo was used as tool for the graphics.
