All are welcome, not just students!
The focus of the jam is to have a great time and learn as much as you can. Even if you don't have any experience creating games, show up and form a team with someone who does. There is no limit on team size. Pre-made teams are welcome just please be willing to add new members. If you can't make it all three days that is okay, just make sure your team knows about it before hand.
We will be starting around 6:30pm on Friday to let people who have work make it. On Friday and Sunday we will be meeting in the Den at the Union building. The room is on the first floor next to the stairs in the hallway, kind of hard to find but it has a fireplace so it makes up for it. If you get lost, ask any of the desk attendants and they will point you in the right direction.
On Saturday we will still be in the Union building but we will be meeting at rooms 311 and 319. Both of them are located on the third floor in the hallway, pretty close to the Den.
Parking: On Friday, parking is only free 6pm and after, anytime before that you will have to park in a paylot or somewhere off campus. For the free parking, park in the lot directly north of the Union building. For paid meters, use the lot directly east of the building. Please be sure to move your car out of the paid lot after 6pm as it will not become free. On the weekend parking will be free everywhere on campus.
For food we will be doing it pot luck style. So if you can please bring something, if not no worries. I will be bringing some drinks and snacks either way so we'll at least have something.
Friday 5pm - 12am(midnight)
Saturday 8am - 12am(midnight)
Sunday 11:am - 8pm, though we will likely finish earlier on Sunday
... also, we got the Union's movie theater reserved to show our games on Sunday!
Please register if you are planning on coming. Right now I have enough space for 30-40 people but if I know early I can get more rooms. This site is not 24/7 so you will need to find somewhere else to sleep... or migrate to coffee shops.
*We don't have extra computers so please bring your own. Board games are also welcome but you will have to bring your own supplies.
