Pathwave is a puzzle- and skill based game, in which the player has to putt a small sphere into a hole.
To do that, the player is restrained on using surrounding shapes of triangles, squares and hexagons, which send out waves at different speeds. That is indeed harder than it looks.
In order to get the sphere where it belongs, the player has to click the right shapes, not only in the right order, but also with the perfect timing.
But that's not it. Some of the shapes send out their waves by themselves, which make your task even more challenging.
The Game identifies itself by a calm and steady mood, caused by the relaxing background soundtrack combined with the sounds of the core-mechanic itself. The art style is timeless in its very own simplicity and contributes a lot to the relaxing touch of the game.
