Our captain, who leads a group of jammers, survived from a Zombie hazard. The virus spread out of control, then just infected all the jammers. So captain is trying to escape by taking a rocket with a women who sells chickens.
On the way escaping, captain just realized not only footsteps make sound to attract zombies, but also throwing chickens distract them.
So by competing/cooperating with each other, the captain and the women, they have to eventually find a way to reach the rocket and escape.
