Hey Game Jam Participants,
Please read the folllowing message regarding the 2016 Global Game Jam event here at Bournemouth University.
Food and Drink
Please be aware that Food and Drink will not be supplied at this Game Jam. Bournemouth University has an on-site Starbucks, Costa, Bar, Shop and Vending Machines. We will however be going to a Shop just down the road for last minute snacks.
Sleeping
There are no Official Sleeping areas at the University. If you want to, you can sleep onsite in one of the labs or go home and return when you are ready. Be advised that University Busses do not run on the weekend.
Computer Access
Bournemouth University are very lucky to have powerful computers that we can use. The rooms that we will be using are the Game Labs which are located on the 2nd floor of Poole House.
Spread across four computer labs, all computers have the following installed: Unity, Unreal 4, Visual Studio, ZBrush, Adobe Suite, Maya and other applications installed. You are able to download libraries and extract them however you will not be able to run any installers.
