AIE Seattle is excited to be a host site for GGJ 2016!
Security will be onsite and assisting overnight, which means that AIE will be open the full 48 hours with no interruptions. Please note that there will be a specific door that all participants are supposed to use after hours, located on the North side of the building on the 1st floor. More information will be provided at the event.
We have re-organized our rooms, making space for roughly 130 jammers total.
Food and drinks are available from the Food Court, located on the second floor of the Seattle Center Armory, and all around the surrounding area. Dick's is a Jam favorite, located just 2 blocks from Key Arena, and open late! There is also a QFC, Safeway, and Metropolitan Market within walking distance.
As usual for all game jam type events, everyone will need to bring whatever they need to be self-sufficient, including any computer equipment and peripherals.
There is no option to allow participants to drive onto campus, per building management.
Parking in general for long amounts of time is expensive around Seattle Center. We strongly suggest participants to try to come in groups to split the cost, or to park further away and bus to the event.
