The idea of our game is inspired by the Villain Hitting folk sorcery which was popular in the Guangdong area of China and Hong Kong. Villain hitting has been preliminarily included in the list of 'Intangible Cultural Heritage' by Hong Kong Home Affairs' Bureau. In our game, there are six different tasks related to Villain Hitting: head hitting, hand hitting, foot hitting, rice spreading, tiger summoning, and pork throwing. Completing each task can effectively injure the villain and reduce the blood level of the villain; Missing the task will reduce your blood level on the other hand (represented by the "heart" symbol at the bottom of the screen). Different tasks are represented by different icons and the icons appear randomly in the top slide bar. When the icon enters into the left end range, you can complete the task by doing the corresponding behaviours. Tap (ipad, touch screen) or click (windows, mac pc)on the head, hand, and foot of the villain can successfully complete the head, hand, and foot hitting task respectively. Rice spreading task requests a five fingers extending behaviour captured by Leap Motion; tiger summoning and pork throwing requests circle and swipe gesture captured by Leap Motion respectively. When successfully completed a task or missed a task, the Phillips Hue light bulbs will show corresponding lighting effects.
