Statera

Statera, at its heart, is a game about cooperation and coordination. In preparation for the game, three players form a circle, holding one side of a mobile device in each hand, while another player holds the other side. Three players face three different labyrinths, some paths blocked by doors. However, the button that opens the door you face may be in another dungeon (other screen), and vice versa. In order to proceed through the maze, each device rolls a marble using the accelerometer, trying to get them all to the their respective ends within the time limit. This game is all about teamwork. In order to win, you and your mates must become one entity, joining your efforts to surpass the challenge. Here is where the coordination kicks in, since you have to balance your wrist twists and movements with both of your partners simultaneously, guiding two balls at the same time, making sure to press any buttons you may find, since they clear the path for the other players, allowing them to help you in return.

Deploy the app on three Android or iOS devices.

Connect to a home-based wireless router. Any institutional connections are not supported within the game. It doesn't need to be connected to the Internet in order to send messages to the devices.

Three players are needed, as each member holds two devices. Once the circle is formed, start the app.

On the Title Screen, the first device will be the server, so it must select the red icon. Once the button is lit, the other two devices select the remaining icons (blue & green). Whenever a player first presses the finger print icon, the game starts.

The objective of the game is to clear all three mazes within the time limit, players control the direction of the marbles with the accelerometer.

Players need to keep their fingers pressed on to every finger print icon, if this condition isn't met, the counter runs faster. If the timer runs out, you have to retry the level, and if you win you proceed to one of the following three levels.
