Howdy! How’ve you been? Say, today’s Sahwin, you know. It’s still early and people are busy with preparatives and such, but soon we’ll have to go and mingle… Dad brought me one of those costumes this year. I’m so excited I can finally go! They say the spirits come out tonight, sometimes. Maybe I’ll even get to see mom. Tell you the truth, father's acting kind of weird since he came back. I hope he goes back to usual once we’re outside around all the other villagers. I’m not sure it'll be that simple, though. He almost looked like he didn’t want me to take the costume. I don’t really know why. I mean, its that awesome little voodoo outfit. Nothin’ short of spooky! Hehe 'Maybe you'll learn to read between the lines and make some smart choices one of these days, huh?'
