To play offline:
Material:
-Playing cards with 4 colours and numbers reaching from 0-9 or 1-10. There should be two of each card. All in all you will have 80 Cards. (You could use UNO cards for example.)
-10 special Routines cards (see Routines Cards).
Setup:
-Shuffle all playing cards.
-Every player gets nine random playing cards and one random routine card. (Every player should know all routine cards.)
-Place a grid of 3 x 3 playing cards on the table.
Main Rules:
-Each turn a player is allowed to lay down one card on another card of the grid. You can only place a card on another if the number is higher or the same. There is an exception, if your card has the same colour the number does not matter.
-Additional to this main rules each routine card adds another rule which only applies to the player who got it. The other players do not know which routine card he has.
-If a player can’t play a card he has to draw a card from the pile. But can instantly play it if he can.
-Once each turn a player can try to guess the routine of another player. If he is right the player with the routine has to draw a card. If he is wrong, he himself has to draw the card. ( EDIT: An improvement to this rule is: If a player gueses right he can decide if he wants to give a card from his own to the one with the routine or if the one with the routine has to draw a card. If he guesses wrong the player with the routine has the same choises.) In any case the player with the routine card, draws a new routine and puts his last routine back to the others afterwards.
-Every player can change his routine card once in the game, on his turn before he plays his card. His last routine goes back to the others afterwards.
Start of the Game:
-Start by drawing one game card and put it into the middle. Now the youngest player can put down his first card. Afterwards it's the turn of the next player clockwise.
End of the game:
-The player who first get rid of all his cards wins.
Routines Cards:
1.You can only place your cards on yellow or red cards.
2.You can only place your cards on yellow or blue cards.
3.You can only place your cards on yellow or green cards.
4.You can only place your cards on red or green cards.
5.You can only place your cards on red or blue cards.
6.You can only place your cards on green or blue cards.
7.You can only place a even card on an even card and an uneven card on an uneven card.
8.You can only place a even card on an uneven card and an uneven card on an even card.
9.You need du place your card always around the last played card. (Examples: “The player before you placed his card in the middle of the grid you can place your card everywhere but not in the middle.” “The player places his card top left. You now can place your card on only 3 places around the top left.”)
10.You are not alowed to place your card around the last played. This is the opposite of number 9.
