Based upon the game of Zendo, players must determine the underlying rule of which pattern pleases the Gods. The rule is randomly generated, as well as a random example of a pattern which matches the rule, and one which does not. By submitting their own patterns, the player uses deductive and inductive thinking to solve the rule.
