PBR Game Rules: At the beginning of the game, each player is dealt 3 ingredient cards. N recipe cards are placed face up on the table where N is the number of players participating in the game. During each player’s turn, they are granted 2 actions. Actions can be used to either draw another ingredient or brew a potion recipe displayed on the table. Whenever a player brews a recipe, it is immediately replaced by another recipe from the recipe deck. All face up recipe cards are shifted one space away from the recipe deck to make room for the new recipe. This ensures that there are always N face up recipe cards at any given turn. At the end of each round, the recipe card furthest from the recipe deck is discarded. A new recipe card is then drawn and displayed next to the recipe deck. Each existing face up recipe card is shifted one space away from the recipe deck to make room and preserve order. Once ingredient cards are mixed to create a potion recipe, the recipe’s effects take place immediately. The max number of ingredient cards a player can hold in their hand at any one time is 9. Dual colored potions count as 2 colored potions. For example, a blue-green potion counts as both a blue potion and a green potion. The first player to own a potion of each of the 4 colors (Red, Blue, Green, Purple) wins the game!
