Luminous is mystery quiz that uses symbols. The goal of this game is to save the hostage held by a ghost. To Save the hostage, player need to answer several questions (in symbol) per level. There are seven levels that need to be cleared. Each level has its own difficulty level. There is no level selection menu of this game. Player will be provided with limited time to answer the questions. Player will be provided by several symbols (below the screen), and to answer the current question, he/she must press the spell circle button. Each answered question (right or wrong) will affect player current HP (health point). Each symbol will worth 10 points and if player' HP reaches 100 or 0, player win / lose. All calculation (time, score, q & a), except for the final score at the end of each level, is on base 5
