☠ (Skull)

This game is about an initiation, a rite of passage of a member of an unspecified tribe. After being taken in a special forest, surrounded by precipices, and with no possibility to leave, the protagonist will have to survive an entire night while being hunted by 3 other members of his tribe. The catch is that, before the start of the ritual, the protagonist was forced to take a special drugs that distorts reality, and alters the perception of depth and colors, making him see the entire forest in only green, orange and light blue, which, conveniently enough, are the colors in which his 3 hunters have painted themselves. Features: 4 players (LAN based): 3 of them are the hunters, and one is the hunted — Asymmetric Gameplay: while the 3 hunters must co-operate to kill the hunted, the hunted has to survive for the entire length of the trial — No prefabricated assets: the game was ENTIRELY made during the Jam — Dynamic music system: each enemy has a menacing tune assigned to him that plays every time they move; as the player gets closer to them he will hear the tunes louder. If several enemies are chasing him, the different tunes will overlap each other creating a new, more menacing music. — No text: not even in the game title. The skull is a universal symbol of death and danger and was often used in rituals by tribes from every country in the world. We want the title to be spelled with the corresponding word in every language, to leave his menacing meaning untouched.
