Software:

You can use whatever software you want to develop your games. We will also have free download codes for Unreal Engine 4 available for all jammers.

If you already know you have a preference for particular software or engine, please try to install it and get it set up ahead of time on the machine you intend to bring to the jam. The same goes for artists or musicians with their preferred tools of choice.

Source control is highly recommended. Some popular options include:

  • Assembla - Git, SVN, Perforce - Up to 1 GB of storage free, Perforce limited to 17 users.
  • Github - Git - Public repositories are free, $7/mo for private repos
  • Bitbucket - Git, Mercurial - Free for up to 5 users, including private repos.
  • Perforce - Perforce - Free for up to 20 users.

 

Equipment:

 

 

We will try to provide a limited number of wired internet connections or wifi cards for desktop computers However, if you have access to a wireless card or USB dongle, it would be very helpful to bring it as wired access will be very limited.  If you absolutely need a specific piece of equipment, please let us know.

All ages 13+ (minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times)
Food Options: 
Access to food in close vicinity. Drinks and snacks provided on site.
Available Tools or Technology: 
Power and wireless internet access will be provided, please bring your own computers or laptops.
This site has onsite security.
Auditorium Space: 
This site has auditorium space available for post-Jam presentations.
