MultiDevice (Working Title)

Everyone who wants to play the game can join in by connecting to the server, just by visiting a website in the browser. Every player can interact with the other players by sending friendship request, poking them or by trying to hack them. Doing this could increase the amount of Credits and thus. Since almost every action costs Credits, every player has to get as many as possible. If an interaction gives or takes Credits to or from the players depends on wether the interaction is accepted. The other player has the option to accept or to decline the requested interactions, but he won't see other players requested interactions, neither he'll see what interactions were requested. The players have to talk to each other to let them accept or decline their requests. The player with the most Credits wins. Sadly, the premium currency is yet not implemented, thus the players won't be able to gather some Jams.

Technology Notes: 
The server uses Unity for the visualisation and .NET-Classes for Networking (Webserver and WebSockets)
Installation Instructions: 

The server needs to be run on a Computer (Unity is required).

In Order to run the server, you have to set the IP address and the path to the htdocs-Folder (see the GameObject "Server" in the Scene).

The players can then connect to the server using the IP address.

 

Note: Press Q on the Server to Hide the QR-Code.
